Disappear Here with Tender Age - An Interview

***** Interview with Tender Age *****

Q. Hello guys, first congratulations on the new EP, it's really brilliant, what is your analysis after conclusion the record, Are you happy with the result?
Yes, we are happy we are very happy but we are never content with happiness alone. We are happy and we are worried that we are happy. We are not resting on happiness but rather propelled by the promise of more happiness resulting from future efforts.

Q. How was the process of creating Disappear Here?
It started as a crazy idea that came to us inside of a very abused and rickety minivan. We were returning frim a long tour and had a plan for a future album already, but wanted to make something quick and crazy in the mean time as an exercise in momentum.
We knew Eric Sabatino would be a good accomplice. We recorded the whole thing in a moped shop and in an attic, fueled by weird mechanic coffee and tauna's sandwiches and a bit of tequila. It was cold as it was winter. When we listened to what we had made it was frighteningly polished, so we fucked it up some more and now it is better.

Q. What are the main differences between Disappear Here and last singles?
Disappear here is a new direction, sometimes a borrowed direction, but less Belinda butcher more butchered.

Q. What were the influences for creating the new EP?
Morrissey, feelings about Hole, buildings being demolished, David Bowie's death, evictions, bobby darin, being loved, lowness, some of us are girls, loud, momentum, car wash, paris sisters, just noises, Rita, idol worship (sonic youth), television, gotta do something besides sleep, bonding, insatiable thirst to produce and share, we had this drum machine kicking around, stuff like that.

Q. What are your plans for 2016?
Gotta do something besides sleep
