Dream Button with Radidas - An Interview

Diretamente da cidade de Kent na Inglaterra também conhecida como The Garden of England graças a beleza exuberante do lugar, chega agora nas páginas do TBTCI o duo Radidas.

***** Interview with Radidas *****

Q. When did Radidas start? Tell us about the history...
A. Radidas formed in early 2012, the idea of the project has dramatically changed since then. We both took a couple of years out for Uni and came back at the beginning of the year to work hard on new music

Q: Who are your influences?
A. We have a wide range of musical influences such as Nirvana, Tame Impala and Pink Floyd to name a few bands but overall we listen to all kinds of music ranging from any genre. We also take inspiration from general life and the beautiful world we all share

Q. Make a list of 5 albuns of all time…
A. This is a hard one, albums that I have personally loved are;

1. Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
2. In Our Heads - Hot Chip
3. LCD Soundsystem - LCD Soundsystem
4. Mythologies - Cheatahs
5. Howlin' - Jagwar Ma

Q. How do you feel playing live?
A. One of the main reasons we write music together is the fact that we both buzz off of playing live shows, a natural high which you cannot replicate

Q. How do you describe Radidas sounds?
A. Our sound is a mixture of modern psychedelic, trance, loops, grunge and raw emotion

Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs ?
A. The EP was recorded completely in analogue at Ranscombe Studios with Jim Riley and Brendan Esmonde

Q. Which new bands do you recommend?
A. We recommend you check out Dreamweaver, Inevitable Daydream, Gang, Get Inuit, Fuoco

Q: Which band would you love to made a cover version of?
A. There are so many great bands and great songs, think it would be impossible to pick just one!

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A. Our plans for the future consist of releasing our EP 'Dream Button' on vinyl, playing shows to help support it and working on a new EP towards the end of the year.

Q: Any parting words?
A. Enjoy the music and keep your eyes peeled for when we are playing a show near you!
