Surrender with The Black Tambourines

Não se engane este não é o Black Tambourines original da Slumberland, aqui temos um quarteto de ingleses que fazem um belo barulho também, mais garage e punk bubblegum com melodias altamente pop e grudentas os moleques mandam bem.

Facilmente poderiam estourar, mas no Reino Unido tudo pode acontecer, não é.

Q. When did Black Tambourines started? tell us about the history...
A long time ago now, when and where is important, all that matters is here are here now and lovin' it.

Q: Who are your influences?
Todd Rundgren. Todd Terje and Todd from Scrubs

Q. Make a list of 5 albums of all time…
Pet Sounds by Beach boys,
A wizard a true star by Todd Rundgren,
blood sweat and tears first record, MTV unplugged Eric Clapton
and last but not least Surrender by the chemical brothers.

Q. How do you feel playing live?
Like eagle soaring across vast valleys and greater pastures but these are now ordinary pastures they are fields of sonic ectasy that glitter like a million diamonds.

Q. How do you describe Black Tambourines sounds?

Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs?
Constantly experimenting, perfecting tone and technique and laying it down on 1/4 inch tape. Quite often we record our tracks playing live.

Q. Which new bands do you recommended
Golden dregs and the red chords and the hipshakes. All fabulous.

Q: Which bands would you love to make a cover version of?
My best friends girl by the cars and all of discovery by daft punk.

Q: What´s the plan for the future....
Release some more records in the near future fo' sure then taking those tasty sounds on the road and playing live lots
