Paris 1969 with Coman´Shee - An Interview

***** Interview with Coman´Shee *****

Q: When did Coman´Shee start? Tell us about the history...
Coman'Shee was born in 2014 from the split of the band Little Brain Attack. Only Max(bass) and Jb(Guitar/Vocals) still up and connected after the end of the project. It was natural for us to continue playing and never stop creating. That's what keeps us alive. So we hire Guillaume (Jb's brother) as the drummer and started to learn how to play together and immediately to write new songs.

Q: Who are your influences?
We can spend the whole day listing them... BRMC, QOTSA, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizzard, Spacemen 3, CAN, Black Sabbath, Electric Wizzard, Fuzz, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Bass Drum of Death, Black Angels, Motörhead, APTBS, Tame Impala, Vulfpeck &a bunch more.

Q. Make a list of 5 albums of all time…
Oh man there is more than only 5 so randomly...
Deep Purple - The book of Taliesyn,
Sweet Smoke - Just a poke,
Can - Futur Days,
Neu!- Neu!,
Serge Gainsbourg - Histoire de Melody Nelson

Q. How do you feel playing live?
Every show is a wild connection with the crowd. We like to be emotionally naked on stage. The most beautiful thing is without knowing how, you realize at one point that everybody is in a trance moving their body like one. We're living to free mind travel and if we can share that pure feeling with people we are more than happy.

Q. How do you describe Coman´Shee sounds?
Fuzz sweet Fuuuuuuuuuzzzzzz

Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs ?
Our records are made to reflect the live experience. That's why we always recorded with 4 mics, all in the same room. Only the voices are done in post production.

Q. Which new bands do you recommend?
French bands are great! You should listen to Kaviar Special, Electric Retro Spectrum, Sound Sweet Sound and Spectral Orgasm.

Q: Which band would you love to made a cover version of?
Probably Thurston Moore of Sonic youth

Q: What are your plans for the future?
We are finishing our 1st album so we hope to release it September of 2017 and then we plan to tour all over Europe.

Q: Any parting words?
We are looking for a free house to own in the middle of nowhere. If you guys have any suggestions!
