Q. When did To The Wedding started, tell us about the history...
To The Wedding began with a few home recordings : Set Fire and Silver Currents were 2 of the first songs I finished. In 2008 I started releasing a few demos, then I moved to Boston, put together a full band, and began playing live. I recorded "Silver Currents" EP over the course of 3 years between Oakland and Boston and mixed it at my house this last year. I'm now back in Oakland, performing and writing with a new group of band members and I have another 5 songs that we plan on releasing this year.

Slowdive, George Harrison, Neil Young, Low, Spiritualized, Mazzy Star, The Cure, Elliott Smith, PJ Harvey, Interpol, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Dead Meadow, Wilco, Bauhaus, Damien Jurado, Leonard Cohen, Songs: Ohia

Q. How do you feel playing live?
It's fun. I definitely have a lot more experience playing the drums onstage with my other band, Minipop, but I'm getting more comfortable singing and playing guitar these days.

There's Talk, Perfume Genius

Q: Which bands would you love to make a cover version of?
So Many One thing I plan to do this year is learn and perform some more covers. In the past we've covered Mazzy Star : Take Everything and The National - Conversation 16 a few more that I'd love to try :
