Boa viagem.
Q. When did Loveless Waves start? Tell us about the history...
We began making stuff as a trio in the beggining of this fall, before that it was just two of us playing guitars. Now it's three of us playing guitars and singing.
Q: Who are your influences?
Slowdive, Jack Kerouac, Cocteau Twins, David Lynch, Pram, Lars von Trier, Blode Redhead, Jim Jarmusch, Sonic Youth.
Q. Make a list of 5 albuns of all time…
Velvet underground and nico,
treasure ( cocteau twins),
my bloody underground ( bjm),
13 (blur),
i can hear the heart beating as one,
bad moon rising (sy)
Q. How do you feel playing live?
Fantastic ( We haven't played live , furthermore we never played together yet)
Q. How do you describe Loveless Waves sounds?
Very reverbish, delayish, maybe meditative. Our songs are quite melancholic and danceable at the same time.
Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs ?
All the magic happens in our bedrooms. We pretend that we are playing together and the songs come up by theirselves.
Q. Which new bands do you recommend?
We don't quite know new bands to recommend.
Q: Which band would you love to made a cover version of?
It would be fun to make a cover version of some italien or french pop songs from 60s.
Q: What are your plans for the future?
Meet each other and find someone who would love our sound, so we could play live and tour.
Q: Any parting words?
We wish you a Happy New Year.
