O Taffy é talvez uma das maiores e mais conhecidas bandas japonesas de shoegaze e dreampop. Os caras soltam seus álbuns pela inglesa ClubAC30 já há muito tempo, e tem uma vastas discografia entre singles, eps, e álbuns, onde em Julho sera adicionado mais um capítulo na saga dos japoneses "Nyctophilia".
Mais doses de shoegaze melódico, sonhador e por vezes evocando o Velocity Girl.

Q. When did Taffy start? Tell us about the history...
We started several years ago and had several albums since then. We’re based in Japan, but it seems that we’re more accepted abroad so we’ve been touring all over the world.
Q: Who are your influences?
Everybody, everything, everywhere,,,.
Q. How do you feel playing live?
It's like...like riding on a jet rollercoaster.
Q. How do you describe Taffy sounds?
Floating in space watching stars with whispers from the earth.
Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs ?
I (Iris) write a basic with just me and a guitar. Then I would pass on my image and the sounds, what kind of sounds I want, to the other members and then we build up together.
Don't really know new bands... :(
Q: Which band would you love to made a cover version of?
Any band if I can imagine myself singing them!
Q: What are your plans for the future?
We just had an album out “NYCTOPHILIA” and will be on “NYCTOPHILIA TOUR” in Japan and the UK this July.
