Evgeniy: It starts when i had wrote some songs and tried to record a first EP of my own project. At one moment i thought that my vocal sounded not very good and ask Kate to sing some vocal parts. We both liked this process and result and it was a day when my own project was finished and Малыш Камю was started.
Q: Who are your influences?
Kate: All things around us is our influences: people, movies and all sounds that we listen every day.
Q. Make a list of 5 albums of all time…
Kate:
The Cure – Disintegration;
Ifwe - Вся моя радость;
My Bloody Valentine – Loveless;
Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas;
Evgeniy: + The National – High Violet
Q. How do you feel playing live?
Kate: Not very confidently. Because we are very domestic.
Q. How do you describe Малыш Камю sounds?
Evgeniy: Hmm… I think our sound is still not formed. But it would be great if someday we could transmit by our sound an atmosphere of the moment when you walk across a misty forest and the sun light flows through the branches of trees.
Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs?
Kate: One of us writes song with guitar or ukulele, and after it Evgeniy starts to record arrangement. All our songs were recorded at home, we use only simple stuff: PC, basic sound card, guitars and mic. That’s why our music sounds not «professional». But DIY method gives us a big freedom for working.

Q: Which band would you love to made a cover version of?
Kate: Mazzy Star. It’s beautiful!
Q: What are your plans for the future?
Evgeniy: We want to finish our new EP in this year. After it we want to make some songs in english.
