Coloque no liquidificador deles, Shangri-las, Pixies, Class of 86, Blondie e The Manhattan Loves Suicide e esta feita a festa.
Garagem bubblegum absolutamente sedutora., experimente se livrar do Chemtrails, e se conseguir me avise, porque eu estou preso a eles.
Escute alto e seja feliz.
***** Interview with Chemtrails *****
Laura and I started writing and recording songs together a couple of years ago. In fact, Golden Tombs and Forever Watching the Skies, which only came out recently, were two of the first songs we ever wrote.
We didn't do much with the recordings for a while apart from occasionally playing at home, but at some point we joined forces with our friends Laura (bass) and Ian (keyboard). We just played for fun in our living room until we managed to find our drummer Sam, and then got more serious about performing. A few months later we got picked up by PNKSLM and since then things have moved really fast - we're about to have our second EP out and are currently playing a lot of gigs.
Q: Who are your influences?
The Pixies, Thee Oh Sees, Black Lips, Blondie, My Bloody Valentine, Nirvana and garage bands from the old "Nuggets" and "Back from the Grave" series
Q. Make a list of 5 albuns of all time…
Iggy and The Stooges - Raw Power
The Pixies - Doolittle
Bob Dylan - Desire
Animal Collective - Feels
Ty Segall - Melted
Q. How do you feel playing live?
Hot. Love it.
Q. How do you describe Chemtrails sounds?
Rugged, corroded pop music with a pinch of psychedelia.
Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs ?
We record everything at home in our living room. I often come up with chords when I hear a bit of a song and wish it was going in another direction. I tend to write riffs and melodies second, and Laura and I write the vocal harmonies together. Then we do the production ourselves on Reason.
Q. Which new bands do you recommend?
Angelic Milk, Holiday Ghosts, Team Picture
Q: Which band would you love to made a cover version of?
We'd love to play a good cover but have been struggling to think of the right song... Send Me A Postcard by Shocking Blue?
Q: What are your plans for the future?
Get our album out which we are currently recording and play lots more gigs - preferably some abroad and more outside of London. We're all really excited and ready to push things further. We want to stay prolific and try to get at least one album out per year.
Q: Any parting words?
Have a good time all the time...
