Existe atualmente um preconceito brutal contra o termo "indie", claro mesmo porque tornou-se pejorativo e eu, sinceramente, não vou me estender em maiores delongas ou explicações do porque antes era um termo legal e hoje não mais, e blá, blá, blá....Na realidade o ponto aqui é a banda a ser abordada, um típica banda "indie", os ingleses do Mosley Bar, tem tudo de indies, inclua-se aí a idade dos caras, que certamente deve estar nos vinte e poucos ano.
Sonoramente tem muito de música indie, de novo, inglesa, Arctic Monkeys fica evidente, e os caras citam a exaustão, eu mesmo, não sou um conhecedor da obra dos Monkeys, salvo, os dois primeiros álbuns, que são ok, depois disso, desconheço, mas, porque o Mosley Bar aterrizou nas páginas do TBTCI?

Porque aqui é um espaço para música indie, claro, e o Mosley Bar é uma boa banda, que vive no submundo dos bons sons, óbvio, e os caras vão bem além da influência dos Monkeys, eles mesmos não devem nem conhecer, mas sem querer absorveram as clássicas influências inglesas, Smiths, e outras bandas dos 80´s, Another Records Sleeve é um ótimo EP que os caras lançaram e vale a audição.
Ser indie no caso no Mosley Bar é bacana.

Ryan: Mosley Bar started in a studio in Skelmersdale. The rest is history.
Matthew : Matthew: Ryan and myself got together with Tim early 2015, Adam joined in June 2015
Tim: We started around June 2015 in a small practice studio in Skelmersdale
Adam: We're based in North West England, I joined last year around June time
Q: Who are your influences?
Ryan: My influences are Catfish and the Bottlemen, Circa Waves and Jack Garratt.
Matthew : Arctic monkeys, circa waves, catfish and the bottlemen, the libertines, two door cinema club
Tim: My influences are, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Journey, Prince.
Adam: Foo Fighters, Muse, Green Day, Arctic Monkeys and The Beatles

Q. How do you feel playing live?
Ryan: Playing live is cracking
Matthew : Playing live is exciting as you get to go out and give it your all
TIm: I love playing live, I always look forward to doing the next show
Adam: Playing Live is amazing as you have all the attention in the room in the palm of your hand
Q. How do you describe Mosley Bar sounds?
Ryan: Mosley Bar sound big, chill and sound.
Matthew : We sound like a mixture of our favourite bands but with our own uniqueness about it, a fresh sound
Tim: I think we sound quite new and fresh, we kind of developed a sound unique to us and no-one else
Adam: We have a unique sound and our songs show our versatility, where we can play upbeat on some and nice and slow on others
Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs ?
Ryan: The process of recording is chilled with the occasional game of pool.
Matthew : We get the drums down as a band playing live to get the energy in the sound and work from there with the bass and guitars, it's a great process with studio engineer James Mellor recording us, we try lots of ideas and take our time until we are happy with the sound.
Tim: We record at the Motor Museum Recording Studio engineer with James Mellor, and when recording each track, each one has a lot of time put into to get the best out of it
Adam: Recording was great! Was relaxing and brought us closer as a band and showed how we come up with new ideas. James Mellor was brilliant with us and had fantastic ideas to which we owe him!
Q. Which new bands do you recommend?
Ryan: Us!!

Q: What are your plans for the future?
Ryan: Record, tour, make money, be happy.
Matthew : Record albums, tour the world, buy my nan a bungalow
Tim: Record as much as possible and play more gigs etc
Adam: Tour the country if not the world, get signed to a label, Pass driving test/exams
Q: Any parting words?
Ryan: Don't hope for the best, be the best.
Matthew : Winners never quit and quitters never win
Tim: Don't hope for it more than you work for it
Adam: Good music doesn't have an expiration date.
