Sras e Srs, Sonic Jesus.
Q. What's the big difference between Ep debut and Neither Virtue Nor Anger?
The Ep was not thought, was made without any purpose, was released only on a personal matter. Neither Virtue Nor Anger has been created in the same way but with a greater awareness.
Q. What are the influences to create Neither Virtue Nor Anger?
The influences inside the album are varied and we can find it in our experience, music and art.
We crossed fifty years of history, folk and garage, psychedelia and punk, new wave and more.
The album wants to be everything and nothing.
Q. I got to read that the album was described as: "if John Carpenter did the remake of Fellini's Satyricon, This could be the soundtrack." what do you think about this?
Cinema as music and poetry as painting are the ingredients of each artist, our work is based on all forms of art.
Fellini and Carpenter are alive, Sonic Jesus are alive.
Art is life.
Q. How do you describe the sound of Sonic Jesus?
The sound of this album was intended to gather inside it a manifesto signed by Sonic Jesus.
Inside Neither Virtue Nor Anger there are fifty years of music.
There is a lot of care in this sound and to make playing the album in this way, years of research.
Q. What do you have currently listening to? What new bands you recommend?
There are so many good bands but we like surprises.
Now we listen Flaming lips, Panda Bear and Brian Jonestown Massacre.
Love these projects
Q. Any Partings words?
We are happy to embrace Greece and look forward that Greece embraces Sonic Jesus. For us present "Neither Virtue Nor Anger" to you is a great honor. Thanks.
